INGV is Italy’s first line of detection for seismic and volcanic phenomena, so it is essential that the organisation’s monitoring capabilities remain online even in the face of natural disasters and power outages.
With monitoring sites in more than one location, INGV faced a challenge of unifying their sites onto a shared platform and enabling access from different locations. With limited resources, they turned to Canonical to asses the need, provide a solution, and build and maintain the required system.
